Hi All,

I've been reading some posts (following a search) about the exhaust butterfly valve, but they all relate to the installation of a full system. Im fitting a Leo Vince slip-on exhaust tomorrow and wondered if its best to disable or leave the valve alone?? I'd really like a lot more sound out of the bike.

If disabling is the way to go, at what point is the valve fully open?

Thanks

butterfly valve stays fully open. when engine is off.

Leave the valve in place it will make enough noise, you can always take it out later when you give in and replace the headers.
