Which is the best one from a perfromance/cost point of view?

I'm looking for something to enhance the performance and sound of my bike but I don't want to spend a fortune... ;)

I`ve got a Remus Viper twin spout alloy can with the Remus intermediate silencer box on one of my 1100`s.
Bought new....great cost.
Perfomance....definately more responsive ('livelier').
Economy ....unaffected,very good.
Sound.. almost the same as stock for about 5000 miles...now a bit throatier.

I`ve got a Remus Revolution oval titanium can with near as dammit straight through link tube on the other 1100.
Bought used, but very good condition,at less than half the new price.
Performance...definately more than the other, but it`s so good that I`m soon to check if it`s been 'chipped' (bought this bike second hand).
Economy...getting on for maybe 10% worse than the other, but I do ride it harder.
Sound...like fecking Armageddon :D . Totally awesome/totally antisocial ;)

My vote goes to Remus Revolution too :thumb
Sounds good, also looks right size wise for the bike.

Remus Grand Prix - straight swap for the stock system - no need to chip anything - just bolt on and go. Lovely deep rumble sound and the bike breathes much easier. It feels smoother and is not offensively loud. Dunno if you actually get any more bhp but as everything feels smoother and less choked I suspect you do free up some gee gees along the way. :thumb

I have the Alu Remus Grand Prix, I wish I had gone for the Revolution now........

Remus Revelution is the best!! had mine for ages. Seems to run best without baffles, bit loud though. Definately more power. Great teamed up with a K&N air filter! :thumb

Mine came with a Remus fitted, which I thought was great. Then I had to fit an original for the PX for the Adv, as it was going overseas and had to be stock (£15+ p+p from ebay, as new, bargain!).

What did I find? The OE was smoother and more consistent across the range and quieter (good or bad, depending on your stance), and if there was any performance loss, I couldn't feel it - wish I'd fitted it from square one.

Everything else was stock mine, no K&N or chips, so can't speak from experience on those aspects.
