Hi removed cat on my gs1150 and replaced it with y piece and fitted a Remus revolution exhaust. After a few hundred miles have decided to refit standard can but keep y piece, all fits fine and sounds ok however angle of can now is tilted upwards and warming left back of indicator, also will be touching panniers, the y piece I have is with the adjustable connector is there a hangar bracket that I can fit that will drop it a couple of inches, oh if someone wants an unmarked Remus revolution stainless colour let me know

Thanks

I fitted a Motad Y-piece and then found that the OE silencer actually made contact with the LH pannier.
If viewed from the rear, the silence should hang, pendant-like, on the mount.
I loosened everything and then, using a strap-wrench, rotated the silencer till it was a good thumb's separation from the pannier and tightened everything up.
Shouldn't have to do that, but there we are.

I am not an exhaust maker by trade but I think we can agree that Y-piece: 2 in 1 out pipe arrangement should have the same external dimensions / point the same way as the OE cat. Some some do. Some don't. I don't know, but I suspect the Brummie that made mine took it off the jig too soon.

Have a look at your whole exhaust system from above. If the output pipe of the Y-piece happened to end up pointing a bit to the right, the end of the silencer would end up being levered out the the left (towards the pannier)..
The silencer is meant to be parallel to the bike. Is your silencer sticking out at the end?
After rotating the silencer relative to the output clamp of the Y-piece, the system is under some tension, but is at least correctly aligned. It would 'prefer' to stick out away from the bike. Never mind, nipping it all up in position means I can safely use my panniers again.
