Exhaust removal advice

I have bitten the bullet and got hold of a Remus revolution for my 1100gs.
Had a quick look at removing the original system today and the clamp joining the exhaust to the 'downpipes' is so rusty I can't define a bolt, let alone loosen it! I am wondering if I should cut through the bit I think must be the bolt and replace it with a new bolt ( I might just find I am in the wind by cutting it)or replace the entire clamp? A cheap option would be great!
Any thoughts on this??????????????????

It looks like a "lay the bike on its side on the grass job" and start work with a hacksaw to cut the clamping bolt.

The bolt of which you speak is not simple standard bolt. I'm not sure if it is possible to remove the bolt from the clamp even when the nut is off.

If the bolt isn't available separately from a dealer and the nut [along with the screw] is that corroded then the clamp sounds buggered.

Could be possible to remove the nut or cut the bolt with a hand grinder with the bike on centerstand then maybe a secondhand jobbie from Motobins, Sherlock or Motorworks could be gotted.

The exhaust clamp and bolt are less than a tenner new from a BMW dealer............cut it off and start again

Since corrosion seems to be present it might a good idea to make sure the two countersunk screws, which screw into the rubber mounts, can be undone before you tear into it.

Should you have Touratech pannier mounts then the LHS frame will need to be removed.
