Exhaust stained - best cleaning tip?

Hi,
Dakars exhaust has a couple of those brownish marks on it that I would like to get rid off.
What's the best way/bit of kit for doing this?

Solvol Autosol works a treat. I've just cleaned the same type of marks off my pipes with it.

try wonder wheels - i used to use it on the pipes on my r100. it either works straight-away and completely, or not at all, depending on stain-type.
