glad i'm not camping. pegs will never hold in that.

Packed! .....well when I say packed, there's a pile of stuff downstairs which shall be applied to my motorbicycle in the morning.

:beerjug:

My fecking throttle cable has just broke. BMW said they will get one in tomorrow am. If they don't then I'm buggered..............

Can it be repaired? It's gone somewhere in the middle?

It'll depend on what variant of GS you have as to how quickly they'll be able to fix your bike.... That and wether they manage to get your part in time.
Hope you make it.

Ok, word from Zena on grub. She's happy if we all drift in at different times to grab our dinners from the menu. They don't have the staff levels of a country dining pub to cope with us all in one hit, so please try not to overload the pub for grub all at the same time.
If you would like breakfast, you'll need to pre-order the night before so the pub knows in advance how many they need to cater for.

Finally, i've just tried to reserve a walkers table at Tarr Farm on Sunday, only to be told they only take a limited number of bookings. There are plenty of other tables in, and around, the pub, so i suggest we get our skates on Sunday morning to ensure we get there in good time to ensure a good spot.

It will be fairly busy on the moor this Saturday as it is Exmoor challenge weekend which is a walking challenge for kids aged 10-15 who walk 15 miles

They are not yet sure if it will take place due to the recent heavy rainfall. A decision won't be made until tomorrow lunchtime. The route appears to be centred around Hawkridge so shouldn't really affect the road rides.

Further details and maps of the route can be found HERE.

That's a good distance at that age, doubt my 10 year old would do much more than 3 without complaining.
