Experience with Spada gear?

I had some waterproof trousers that weren't, as a a general rule, you get what you pay for in my experience.

I have one of those jackets, so far i am very happy with it. Its never leaked and with th liner in ,is warm. I paid £100 for it,so no complaints and would recomend it if you don't want to spend a fortune.

mate of mine has a pair of their pants and reckons they're great.

The often come out well in reviews. The pants my mate has were a best buy in ride IIRC. Can't remember what model they are.

Their Milan troosers have just come out ok in an MCN review of textile kit. Often very competitive in the price department.

It is often the case YGWYPF, but some kit is perfectly serviceable, but for many reasons doesn't sell that well :nenau, so it gets off-loaded cheap :clap. The warm feeling of a bargain - mmmmmm, toasty.

I've been using a Sport Tour model since July last year and its been really good.
Excellent value, very smart. Waterproof and very warm. Even without the liner.
Watch the sizing, they or this model can be a bit small. I'm 44" chest and needed a XXL. Had to take the XL back to the shop as it was a bit nippit.

That's the prob I'm a hot guy needed more breathability and vents.
So with some Xmas money this year bought an HG Cruise (Goretex!).

Don't know if I'm allowed this, but if your a 44" chest PM me for more details, could do a good deal on it.

ive had jacket and trousers in the past, trousers were shit, leaked and very uncomfortable. the jacket was 100% waterproof but lacked vents when it got hot

Currently got a pair of Spada "Thunder" boots which I bought in May'07 and cost about £55. Very warm and waterproof but the sole of the left boot is wearing thin which is odd as I'm a right foot down person. Zip pull came off my left one as well so it's currently got apaperclip on it.

Also got a pair of Spada gortex gloves that cost about £40 at the same time. Waterproof but not very warm without thermal inners or heared grips.

Have had a Spada Farenheit jacket with heated liner for about ten years and it still works perfectly. Not completely waterproof anymore, but a good dose of Techwash and reproofer helped.
