I need a 5 litre metal 'explosafe' petrol can to strap on the back of my GS for my Morocco trip.. .. None in Halfords, and none on ebay... where can I get one from?

Tchibo still have 1-litre aluminium flasks on their web site at £4.99. Go to http://www.tchibo.co.uk/ and stick 'flask' into the search box. There's a flat-rate delivery charge of £3.95 irrespective of quantity.

Can anybody tell me the dimensions of the explosafe 5ltr (or even the 10ltr) petrol cans?

Or even if either will fit in a BWM top box?

I've seen the size of that chair, probably holds several hundred litres.Put SWMBO on the pillion & the fuel in the chair. Estimated range 4000 miles. Voila!
