Extra Lights at Front - What are my Options

Hella FF50s

Yes, the Hellas work very well. They add tons of light; enough for me to blast down unlit B roads at night "hammer and tongs" without fear. I bought the driving light pattern. I have aimed the one near the center line of the road straight ahead and the one on the edge of the road side a little off to the side, so that I can see the night time critters before they leap out in front of me. One good thing about them is that they take the same bulb as our stock headlights, so you can swap bulbs around if need be. The other thing is that the Hellas are inexpensive compared tot he so-called premium brands like PIAA. I have owned PIAA lamps (1100X) and they were no better than the Hellas. I shopped aound online and found my Hellas for only US$39.95. This compares with over $200.00 for PIAAs that work no better.

Can you tell me where you bought them from. I can the contact them and see if theyb will ship them to UK. It might be easier if you email me .

Yes I bought them installed and tried them I have them for the last 2 months now and they perform very well.

Compared with the rest that are on offer , price/performance wise are the best.

Gonna wait till I have the bike before I decide what to hang off it - except a hugger, of course - thats essential !!

Seems like an odd thing to order a european item from the states, but, if it's the best option, then great.

Anyhow, I bought mine from Cabela's: http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/t...catalog/pod-link.jhtml_A&_DAV=MainCatcat21412 but they don't seem to be showing the FF50 anymore, although other Hellas are listed.

I have ordered several things from these folks over the years, and they sell Hella FF50s. http://www.rallylights.com/hella/ff050.asp although they are not blowing them out dirt cheap, they are still reasonable.
