I decided to wire up a extra brake light off my new EZ can. All fitted in nicely with the extra light just wired roughly alongside. I then configured the light to run 100% on brake and 10% on the tail light. I thought the tail light at 10% was a touch bright so decided to go back into the software to try and turn it down to 5%. Will the laptop now "see" the EZ can - will it ****! It ain't the lead as I tried another one. I cannot get the red light to come on on the EZ can. Any suggestions peeps?

I haven't installed mine yet but I think I remember reading that you have to disconnect it from the battery before you can configure using the USB port. Probably easiest way is to remove the main fuse.

Turn the ignition on and make sure Canbus is working.

Had same issue when first set up. Cable came out of laptop . Did restart of computer and switched bike on and off and seemed to work. IT guy I work reckoned it was my laptop.
I have the works laptop at home - I'll try that. Thanks.
It was the laptop. Luckily I had the works one at home - it picked up the EZ can straight away. Thanks to all who replied.
