Twice over the past year I’ve had to reconnect the laptop to the ezcan as the aux lights failed to work.

It’s near exactly 12 months to the day, I remember as it was the day before I left for Norway.

Anyhow, is there a time out on the setting for the aux lights or has anyone experienced similar. Basically the lights fail, no warnings and won’t work again until I reactivate them via a laptop and ezcan.

When I did connect the device it simply asks to “click here” to knock the lights back on.

Maybe try increasing the value of the 'electronic fuse' linked to the auxiliary light circuits.

I had this problem with ezcan 1. It was a constantly switching aux light circuit off. I had each light wired separate so it was only the left light. No problem with the right light. Tried all sorts. Eventually it shorted for some reason - maybe old I dunno - and nearly set my bike on fire! Bought an ezcan 2 and touch wood no issues and works perfectly.

That’s a good shout thank you
I am in contact with someone that knows the developer (I personally don't know the developer) but I do know that they would be all over this glitch - try the fuse thing, if not then give me a shout. They'll probably get you sending logs etc but ....

It happens every single time either of ours has been to BMW.
Have to connect it to the laptop before it comes back on. It’s like the canbus is being switched off to it.

Thanks all, Smithmas I appreciate the offer

Let’s see how it goes with the fuse and we can take it from there
