F 800GS rental in Australia?

I used these.. although it was 4 years back...

Owner is Graham Ferguson, and he couldn't be more helpful. They didn't seem to list the 800 on their webpage, but you could give him a call and he may be able to point you in t he right direction....

They are only about 5 minutes from Sydney airport..so maybe take the 1150GS??

Hired a R1150 for 2 days for AU$160/day.
Bike was Immacluate and couldn't believe it had done over 100,000km. Gave me Jacket, helmet, waterproof bottoms, gloves, maps, luggage & panniers, Baglux Tank Bag all included.

Bikes had a limit of 500km/day, but didn't charge me a penny when I was a bit over the limit (about 700km over!)..

ZZ10,
Your original link is to a US based agent for several OZ/ Sydney rental sources. You may (eventually) get a response thru agent.

You can also try

(page down to Australia)
for a more-or-less complete list of direct links to OZ bike rental companies, including but not limited to Sydney.

good luck

ozrider.......

Met the guys who run this yesterday, seem like good blokes, so their company is probably okay too....

They have 2 x F650 and an 800 at the moment, but may get more

The Sydney dealer - 2 shops / same company :mmmm have sold all their first batch and they've ONLY just got here.

I'm surprised anyones renting them yet.

Change of plan, I will probably be in Australia earliest end of next year so hopefully F800GS will be more common rental bike then, would be great riding 800GS in Australia. :beerjug:

Steady on you lot, they only started delivering F800GS bikes to customers here 4 weeks ago. I had to wait 10 months from ordering to delivery. You folks overseas have had plenty opportunity to ride them already, give us a go first!
