F452RYR. Any previous owners.

R80GS Paralever. I bought this bike from Terry a short time back and wonder if there are any other previous owners on here.

I know Rob did some work on it but I would like to know if the valves have been changed before I shell out for a top end overhaul.

Because

Sometimes twixt 40,000 and 60,000 miles the valve heads have a habit of getting divorced from the stems
It's usually a very messy separation involving lots of broken bits

Think of it as a messy divorce cost wise.

For the sake of £80 or so I'd replace the exhaust valves anyway just to make sure

Yup, happened twice to me, once at tickover in the back garden and again at high speed on the Autobahn. See if you can guess which one was the most expensive

If I can't find proof positive that thay have been changed, they will be.
