Test rode both today, ST3 first, then F650GS.
I knew the ST3 would be faster and more "fun" - it has a motor to die for (why don't Triumph market a mini Tiger?). The heart says Triumph.
The head was saying F650GS (hard luggage option for riding to Spain this summer, big front screens available for wind protection - neither available for the ST3).
What really surpised me was how much fun the 650 was and it was quite nippy too!
After much careful thought and at least two test rides on each, providing my 1150 sells, I'm going to buy a F650GS!
