Hi looking to get one of above bikes how do they compare anyone owned both what mpg how many miles before serious engine work needed never tried bmw 650 are they fun to ride ???????? thanks

Hi Will, m8 of mine over here had both these bikes at the same time. The TA does 55MPG plus and the 650 was 65MPG plus... Apart from that he sold the BMW as he prefers by a long shot the TA.... So do I BTW the TA is a really nice bike to ride and can shift along happily. Not so great on the longer runs but everything else is good. His TA is coming up for 60K miles now and still looks in very good nick...

Basically I think it boils down to one question and that is 1 or 2 cylinders...

Ah you did not mention off road.... why not keep the Vara and get a DR400,,, I know , its all money

Hi been down that road before had ktm 450 but only did enduro's and green laning need a true dual purpose bike this time
