F700gs Oil Warning Light

I have just bought a 2013 model F700gs with onboard computer with oil warning light. The instruction booklet does not refer to an oil warning light, and when you scroll through the info nothing comes up about oil. Parner has a GS adventure and his comes up 'oil ok'. How can I find out if there is an oil warning function... and does it work on low oil or oil pressure? Can anyone advise me .

Put key in turn on if the clocks are the same as 800gs left side of clocks all your warning lights etc are their the oil one would come on and stay on if their was a problem

Yep, as above. I've got a 700 and the oil light would stay on if there was anything wrong .

There'll be an oil pressure warning light, which'll be red, and which the bike will have. Some have an oil level check, which is a contents check, and probably only works at standstill, and in neutral.
