Ok I have a f8GSA which I love except for the only downside - tubed tyers. I've read of various solutions which seem to cost a fortune. So with new tyers needed I got a pair of those new Michelin yolks. Also needed front pads replacing and wheel bearings on rear. She is out of warrenty so I was doing it myself. Tools ready and a few extras tubeless valves sicoline Denso tape and some duck tape. Out with back wheel replace bearings clean rim sicoline spoke ends let set over night.
Next morning wrap Denso tape starting and finishing with a overlap at valve. Next is 2 layers of duck tape. With drill bit in hand make hole for valve and slot in valve screw nuts quite tightly. Put on tyre with PLENTY of lubricant and blow up. Tyre seated grand on right way round never balanced before why start now? Fit wheel and check for pressure drop none after a week. Next job front wheel brakes sized both capilers fuck. No luck with a few friendly taps and prys. Remove capilers put into vice after a lot of various desperate measures out came the blow torch. Success at last. Brakes sorted now for tyre done everything the same except I wrapped everything in the rim tape. It leaked from whatever I don't know. Now has a tube. Might have another go. It's got 600 km on since.
