For reference IGOR is the technical representative in Italy.

My Givi rack is 18 months old and has failed once. After reading this I contacted GIVI UK and they have offered to replace the whole thing if I take it back to the original supplier.
I am contacting them to see if they can just send me the bolts (if that's all that has changed.

I had this exact same problem. I emailed GIVI customer services stating this was a common problem, even sending a link to the original thread on this site, but never received a reply. I was a bit pissed that South London Motorcycles did not fix the problem for me and persue the claim against GIVI themselves as they had just a few months earlier sold me the mounting plate and charged me for fitting it  .

Surprise, surprise. Called South London Motorcycles yesterday to tell them Givi have conceded a fault. They said they would investigate. They called me back today to say Givi had sent a replacement kit yesterday and it was already with them ready for collection. Turn upon the bike and they will swap the parts over while I wait. :clap Faith restored
