Fantastic warranty service from Sargent seats

On Monday I noticed that the seat base/pan of my front Sargent seat had developed a transverse crack across almost the whole width of the seat.

So, I emailed Sargent in the USA to tell them what had happened and asking about repairs.

Following day I had a detailed response giving data about how many failures they'd had - basically you could count them on the fingers on one hand.

I was told to make contact with the official UK distributor, Calamander, to sort out repair replacement which would be done under warranty. (www.calamander.co.uk)

Bear in mind that this seat is 3 years old and has covered 43,000 miles.

Anyway, first thing this morning Sean from Calamander phoned to say they would order me a new seat and to confirm the pattern of the seat fabric and colour of the seam piping. The seat will be made to order and will be with me by the end of the month.

Now that's what I call good service and product support.
 
I have always used Calamandaraderar for luggage, and have found them to be top notch and often the cheapest too.:thumb
