FAST IDLE

Just a quick question. On my 1150 gsa 2004 the fast idle lever after cold starting the bike goes back to the midway position, is it supposed to do this, once up to temp I manually change it from mid position to off.

I ask as when the bike is cold the midway position isnt quite enough fast idle and the bike struggles a bit and I have to hold the lever in the top position for a minute until a bit of warmth is in the engine

it's meant to to do that Sir

Look under the left switchgear at the front edge where the cable comes out and you will see a knurled screw and hopefully just a little thread you can adjust this a litlle here but no so much you pull the cable taught at tickover when it's off

It's probably just that it's so cold out there at the minute, in milder weather it'll be fine
