Agree with above. However as you lower the foot pegs they move forward meaning you will probably need to replace the gear leaver too. Hence the reason some versions are sold as a set.
When I lowered Jills foot pegs on her 100. I quite literally cut the foot rest off the mounting pin part and inserted a plate and had them re-welded vertically lower down. This solved the problem and meant I didn't need to change the gear shift. It also gave a good standing area, a nice straight (Err! sort of) platform for the foot, which is lost on TT's version for example.
