Anybody know if/how much the fast way peg lower the foot position.

I want to lower my knee position on the PD as it's causing me grief on longer runs.

Abou 10mm down and a little forward in the lower setting or flip them over and standard height. I had them on my PD and they eased the leg to peg problem.

Agree with above. However as you lower the foot pegs they move forward meaning you will probably need to replace the gear leaver too. Hence the reason some versions are sold as a set.

When I lowered Jills foot pegs on her 100. I quite literally cut the foot rest off the mounting pin part and inserted a plate and had them re-welded vertically lower down. This solved the problem and meant I didn't need to change the gear shift. It also gave a good standing area, a nice straight (Err! sort of) platform for the foot, which is lost on TT's version for example.

Thats true it did not bother me but was noticable. An after market leaver would be the go

I think this might be a good way to go if you can. I have some stainless lowered pegs. 3cm lower and a bit further forward - but it means that the right hand side carb just touches my shin -which some might find annoying

Don't forget, you can cut the gear lever 'foot knob' compelety off and use the nest hols along the gear lever to mount a knob of your choice...free and easy ( like me )
