Technical help pleeze team. My 1150GS (2001) LCD display has an annoying fault. Normally fine when setting off but after a while (warming up?) the display goes a bit haywire and I only get half of the digits. Then it comes and goes intermittantly. I've had the tank off and had a little play and a jiggle with the 4 pin connector but as it's intermittant it's a bugger to trace. Any thoughts? :tears

remove and replace fuse #4
double check the rh connector block under the tank
HID ballast unit fitted? needs to be located away from rid

RID LCD display fault

Just had a problem with my display. The time had frozen and fuel/temp/gear display was not lighting up. Tried removing and replacing fuses and success it is working again now! I love this website. It was fuse no. 3 i.e. third from the left hand side of the fuse box.
