FD bearing

I have a spare FD bearing and was just looking at it - there is distinct play between inner and outer races which seems wrong. It's still in the plastic wrapping but I can definitely feel and see the races move if I apply finger pressure to sides. Is it a candidate for return? Surely must be... :confused:

It has a bit of play if I hold it like this:

and press on centre bit. Maybe they are supposed to be like that but before using it, would be nice to know for sure. There's a very short video here (dunno how to embed Youtube vids....)

Chris as long as it was supplied as a C3 clearance then that is fine

Yes they have a little bit of movement when cold

Hard to tell from the vid how much yours has?

Great thanks for replies - never come across that sort of movement in a bearing, but then haven't dealt with ones that size or application. Don't have to send it back anyway :thumb
 
It should be a good make bearing not a Chinese/Indian or no name one? if so don't use it.
