its not cheap this year. booked for aug out and sept back with a larger indoor cabin. £568, but if we have a good a time this year as last it will be well worth the money.
Hello Tossers,
I am looking to do a 3 month tour of Europe, starting in early June. I will be arriving in London on or around the 27th of May and picking up a bike then. My plan is to catch a ferry from Plymouth over to Cherbourg, then make my way south then west to northern Portugal. After that, it's a case of just follow the road.
Can any of the members here advise me as to what sort of money I might expect to pay for the ferry crossing ? The return is something I will have to worry about later, as I have no idea where I will return from and only a vague idea of when.
Cheers,
Gav.

We've just booked for a week in July. Out from Plymouth to Santander (outside large cabin), and return Caen to Portsmouth. £445 for 2 bikes and two riders. Looks like a good deal to me, and the Britany Ferries website looks a lot more bike friendly than it used to.
