EVskij. Be careful with your electrical bits. The ST602 bag is not waterproof. I have the XS319 and that's the same

Point taken. But I'll always use a rain cover when needed. The plug has a rubber sleeve to protect connection from direct water spray and a cover cap to cover up connections once disconnected.

The way the bag sits perched on top of the filler cap. Great to have power in there though

The bag is ideal for a day trips and paperwork/ charge station when I am touring. I don't need one the size of a mini fridge! :blast :D

Thanks for posting the pics,Ive been looking at different tank bag solutions for my TB.

BTW I'm impressed that you've stuck to the task despite the rain. :aidan

I had my bike nano coated on the 21st of Feb and I only picked her up yesterday. Anyhow that doesn't mean paint won't fall off. Might keep the shite at bay butt time will tell. Will get ACF50 out when it will warm up a little, as right now it comes out clumpy.

Yes rain / hail did get in my way so not much has been achieved. Life in a mans word without a garage suck

What tank protection are you fitting ?

Not sure yet. I might go for a clear film like posh cars use on their wings numbers and bonnet edges.

Any recommendations? I can use BMW tank protector from S1000 like Nutty using but I don't want to be a copy cat. I like gloss black but look on the top cover of the tank but I can see it being scratched easily with jacket poppers etc. Sides of the tank definitely clear mat finish film. Will try and visit a company near a place I used to work at and see if they can do it properly.

That looks very precarious

It might look precarious but it's fine. Tucked in between rider and fairing. Only the very worst storm will get to it and it's solid at speed - I believe officer ;-))

I ride the R1200R Sport with the Givi tank lock ring and an XS319. It's very exposed but rock solid. The rain cover is good and wind is no problem.

I don't work for Givi by the way

Cheers

Going down the ventureshield route I think and will probably order tank kit only and fit myself. It is vital by the way to protect the stickers on the tank sides otherwise they quickly scuff up as there is hardly any lacquer over the stickers that say BMW. My bikes only few months old with 3000 miles and scuffed already so having new panels supplied next week and I will cover them up straight away to prevent exactly same happening again. Thanks for reply and all the best

I copied. No shame in it. Was a great suggestion/share!
