Finally....

This morning I have taken delivery of this beauty, wife said first thing she seen it "Shit! It's huge!!!"

Funny thats the exact same words my Mrs said to me on seeing my GS for the first time lol.

That said, it is huge, the bars are at chest height for me, when its on the main stand lol

Nice bike BTW

I had close call nearly dropping it in a car park with spaces of camber anyway it is a massive improvement over the last one I had. Smoother, etc. The only gripe I have (very minor) is indicator light on the instrument panel is singular unlike previous bike was directional if you know what I mean. As a result if you go round the roundabout let say and turn right then left you can't tell if you indicating correctly. Other than that it is fab at the moment

Looks really good. I'm pleased for you mate.

You'll get used to the single button indicator again. I can see a long hot summer of fetching milk and eggs ...... from the next county.

When I came home with mine my wife said "You can't be serious. What are you meant to do with that? Did you know it was that size when you bought it?"

Lovely bike, health to ride! Took a new one out on a test ride yesterday and the indicator thing niggled me too, glad to see someone else mentioning it! Can't see it put me off mind you :)

Congrats on your fine choice of steed. :thumby:

Looks just like my TB, :green gri which I picked up from SBW last Weds.

It seems like there are a few Triple Blacks within hail, we could all be really sad and meet for a coffee, perhaps Tescos at Hatfield. I need an excuse toput the panniers back on. :augie

PM me if you fancy starting a Chapter :clap

SBW have been busy. Picked my TB up from them in Oct.

Coffee at Tesco's ? When?

Ok, sun is shining, (a bit windy though) have a few hour to kill so it is time to put some toys on a new bike. Photos and items fitted to follow.

Ok No photos but three things achieved. BMW pannier rack removed. Givi tanklock ring and bag fitted. Power supply for the tank bag was routed and connected up to the battery.

Got to fit a tinted Givi screen, rad guards, headlight guard, frame protectors, tank protection film and some other bits and bobs.

It's a Tyne one with iPhone pocket. Givi ST602, with S110 wording loom and S111 USB charge outlet.
