I have just got one
Screen is great so is the speed
But it won't run OS mapping and is very road orientated so IMHO it is not a replacement for the Montana if you want to trail ride

I'm surprised nobody has asked whether the XT will form the basis of the next BMW Nav (7?)! It certainly doesn't look as if you could use the Nav 5/6 locking mount.
You can always ask yourself, if it’s that burning a question in your life that it’s causing you surprise and maybe some disquiet?
Rather like 3D view, I am not sure what the ‘BirdsEye’ view does to enhance the riding ‘experience’. Surely all you need is the map and the magenta line? The topographic view might, I guess, have some value for genuine off-road merchants. However, it will very much depend on what ‘topographical’ actually means and on what the maps actually do and don’t do. As for all the weather stuff? Look out on the day or catch the local weather forecast.
