Well thought id take the gs for a days long ride.after only having it for a day so far, was all going great and started to enjoy the bike and its handling . then it happened 5 min from home pulled up to a t-junction to turn right and for some reason lost me balance this coupled to the high riding position and my feet not fully flat on the floor, it fell made me roll on the road, great i thought ive done some damage already. i managed to pick it up , on my own with no help at all from the cars behind me.. only to see ide scuffed the hand guard,plastic engine strip and a little scuff on the engine bar..

got home and thought thank got it a gs and built for that sort of stuff.. more than happy its able to handle little offs when they happen

Sounds like you got off lightly. Can't complain too much about scratched engine bars, they did their job and the scratches will be easier to touch up than scratches to the cylinder head covers, trust me on this!

Find out why you fell. It might be the engine stalling too easily. Mine threw me off midway through a right turn when the coils were going home.

i know wy i fell it was me and the camber of the junction,, missed footing and balance, as im on me toes to hold it up..

So annoying. to nasty roads cambers.

Ive learned to stop right-footed. It's not pukka Roadcraft, but the camber is more often in my favour and no dropped drain covers to catch me out. Then I stutter on a junction exit and drop the booger anyway.
