Aye, just thinking aboot it :thumb2

From the Met Office:
Unsettled with further showers or longer spells of rain across all parts of the UK. At first, near normal temperatures with occasional frosts, and windy at times as well with a risk of gales or perhaps even severe gales. A risk of further snow across higher ground in the north. In the last week of this period a trend towards generally milder conditions is expected with little if any frost and daytime temperatures well above average. Although still unsettled, the heaviest rain is expected to be confined mainly to northwestern areas of the UK especially western Scotland. Driest conditions expected across the south and east but even here some rain at times. Still windy at times but the risk of gales or severe gales is mainly in the north.

He would have been ok.
The worst o the Windae Lickers left early :augie

I see that snow blizzards are in progress up in the NW area as well as the Cairngorms just now...

Phil.

If you're no fussed about going to Blair Atholl, just come doon the A90 and turn off at Forfar McDonalds and make for Coupar Angus. Take the Blairgowrie road, throught the toon and then onto the A93 for Bridge of Cally.
Mind you, nae doot they'll have the A93 cleared at Glenshee for the bloody skiiers.

Numbers For Saturday

According to BBC Weather website, the forecast is either sunny or cloudy with sunny intervals for the following places on Saturday:

Blairgowrie (nearest to Bridge of Cally Hotel), Pitlochry, Braemar, Kirkcaldy, Portree, Fort William and Dundee.

I'll phone the hotel tomorrow night and give them an idea of numbers. So, who's still game then?
