Well, going by the state of roads up here today, frost never lifted. I'll pass on the run tomorrow.
Take care and I'll see you in better weather gents :thumb2

No worries, Rob. Hope to see you next time out. We'll organise something a bit nearer to you for a meet. :beerjug:

Who knows, Johnny might even join us on his new KTM :augie

Icy Roads and Baltic Temeratures

I've been outside and the roads/pavements around here are white with frost and ice.

IMO a bike meet would be madness. I can't see the temperature rising by anything significant before some folks have to leave to be at BoC for lunchtime.

I won't be going I'm afraid :(

Frost is the same up here.
Might go back to bed and read ma book.
Could give the bike a right good clean and apply ACF.
Could get the kids up and take them for a nice long walk.
Kettles boiled, have a good un whatever you do.

I concur with the rest - the bike stays in the garage today.

I live just across the Almond River from Cunning Fox - its very cold here.

Heavy frost on the cars & buildings.

You want ice with that ?

I don't think the sun will make much of an impression today. Nice for a walk though.

I have been out on the 100GS in conditions like this, but as it is currently in bits that is not an option. The 1200GT and 1150GSA are just too big and heavy for icy roads.

Hopefully next time then.

Bob.

You could always go for something cheaper . . . .

Add a larger front wheel.
Add knobblies.
Spray it orange.

WELL.........

try selling the bikes instead :augie

I was up in Collessie this afternoon and the B roads around the area were still treacherous. I saw a biker "paddling" at a junction in Freuchie around the same time.

Well ... where was everybody.
Gets up to the Atholl Arms, hung about for an hour, had soup.
Thought I might be late so went up over Moulin moor at tremendous speed in order to catch up, Then up to Wick for coffee. Roads were a tad slippy, but I just broadsided round the corners with my foot out motocross style. Then home. Only 430 miles in total.
I only wish that I had remembered to put my jacket liner in.
Call yourselves all year bikers ?
