oot o Scotland on the bike. I'm off to France on Saturday:bounce1 with my mate( on a zx12r) for a week of touring and camping in Normandy & Brittany. Bike is all ready to go.
Driving through Englanshire to Dover then heading for Le Harve, Le Mont St Michel, Brest , Nantes, Le Mans (for Thursday & Friday GP practice) , Lille and then on to Dunkerque and back home. Hopefully I will get some good photos and will post when I get home.

Any advice welcome

Au revoir:thumb2

Squeezy cheese and crackers don't knock it till yi've tried it:thumb

Have a great time bro.
Have ye had yir jabs and passport for Englandshire

First thing to do is relax and enjoy the trip.

Take your time bedding in to riding on the other side of the road if this is your first time abroad on the bike. It's amazing how quickly you get used to it but be very cautious to begin with. It definitely does feel odd to begin with...

Take lots of photos. Get pissed on French wine.
Have a great time.

Get pissed on French wine.

You're there for a week so its worth saying/doing twice :thumb2

Have fun. Jealous, Moi (I'm fluent, I am.)

In another thread, someone suggested tying a bit of ribbon or some such manly material, to the right mirror stalk to remind you which side you should be riding on.

Painted White Lines

Watch out for white lines if it gets wet - slippery as hell.

Have a good trip and enjoy ;)

Good advise from G.C. concerning something on the right mirror or Handle bar. One other piece of advice watch out for ALL french Drivers in my experience they're crap especially in the country. But all said have a great time.:rob

All packed ready to go, leaving at 4am:bounce1

Don't listen to him, Mike. In France, a red ribbon on your right hand mirror means that you're gay and you like being pissed on...:augie

...so I'm told...:aidan
