What a difference! The pick up is soo much cleaner and smooth, quite frankly its a different bike, and I am told it was in a perfect state of tune before I fitted the module! I have not done any exstensive testing but if all things are equal this is going to make such a difference to my enjoyment of riding this bike:D I came straight from a long list of jap sports fours and was alarmed at the lumpyness when accelerating, this module has just removed that little glitch completely. I did not expect that result! At 45 euro its a snip:D

Another convert...:thumb

I've had one on my 09 GSA for almost 3 years now.
I used to remove it for dealer servicing ( I don't bother removing it now), and I really noticed the lumpiness in the fuelling without it.

The pick up is so smooth, my GSA pulls cleanly from 1500rpm in 6th gear.
:bow

I have not had enough time to fully evaluate it, but the first impression is wow! I will be going out on Sunday with the wife so it interesting to see the results with the greater load, luckily she does not read this forum:D But to be honest for the dosh it does a remarkable job. I will have to look at fuel consumption to see what effect it has on that but even a 5-10 % increase would not bother me for the better pick up and drive. I willbe fitting an end can soon so a slightly richer mixture can only be a good thing, because the bike is more than likely going to be breathing a little bit better the module should help in this respect?

I would consider fitting de-catted headers before changing the end can. Makes a huge difference and in my view, a bigger one than the Accelerator module which is a great piece of kit in itself. I went a bit further and swapped out the module for a Wunderlich Power Controller, K&N filter and Iridium plugs. Really happy now as the only thing I wanted when I bought my GSA was a little bit more low down grunt and less snatchiness at low speeds. I do have an Akra can but go through phases with it - great for the sound but a bit too much for longer distances so put the OEM can back on for those trips.

I Went away for the weekend shortly after buying my module, pulled it off for the ride away (150 Miles) and put it back on when I got there, me and her indoors both noticed the difference.

Fuel consumption seemed about the same using same route / same cruise speeds coming home and I am sure there is nothing in it, although it may be fuelling a shade more you porbably end up revving a shade less to get the same progress.

I have also got decat headers and find the power delivery pretty decent, definately a shade less peaky than stock with a boost to the mid range - these may also help fuel consumption as the Cat is like having a spud up your exhaust.

If there was a way of doing a decat while keeping the standard exhaust then I would be in... but hey I'm Scottish and don't want to spend me money:flag I really only want smooth running and a bit of an exhaust note. The first part, the accelerator, has worked really well. If the end can adds a bit of exhaust music then great the power issue is not really important, after all its not exactly a slug standard! And most importantly its not a sports bike so no need!!

I think the only difference between the two is that the temprature sensor is on an extended lead so that you can position it away from the engine area in cool air. Try a google search for bmw accelerator you should get a hit for that. I can't see why there would be any long term down side it only just gives a slightly richer mixture when accelerating... you do not get any real increase in power it just gives smooth power lift when getting on the gas. Made a big difference to my bike.:D

Best £10 i have ever spent:D
and with it fitted the emmisions are still lower than a BMW 1 series with 30 quid a year road tax:rob

Accelerator module fitted

Fitted one after reading what people were saying on the forum. So simple to fit, less than 10 minutes all-in.

Much better low speed throttle response, no snatching in 1st anymore. Now pulls 6th from 3,000rpm without bogging down. Much smoother all-round. 2-4 more MPG (Non scientific, just reading the on-board computer).

For me, money well spent. Cheap and does exactly what is say's on tin.

Also have to say great service from supplier. Quick order acknowledgement, fast delivery. All in all I'm a happy Tosser !

Got mine here

I fitted one last year and all I can say: It's more like a Landrover less like a Tractor!:thumb2
