More advice wanted, oh great sages :bow

I want to fit an additional power socket to my 2002 R1150GS (non Adventure) in order to power my newly acquired sat nav... but despite having a manual on CD, I don't have a wiring diagram.

Anyone able to offer some advice or handy tips?

Cheers,
Paul

IMHO, wire it direct to the battery.

or

If you are still sure that you really really want to wire it via a socket, then simply pop into you local BMW dealer and buy the loom (ala GSA)

This then just piggy backs onto the one down on the nearside.

Buy the socket, drill hole, fit socket, connect loom, job done, stand back and smile :D

One hour max, start to finish ;)

Excellent - as I want to be able to swap it between the GS and my 1150GSA, best opt for the 2nd option... off to my friendly BMW dealer 1st thing tomorrow.... thanks! :thumb2
