Going to fit a 30 litre GSA tank to my 1150 this weekend. I've swapped fuel filters in the past but that's about it, not sure about swapping all of the 1150 tank internals over.

Any tips to ease the swap? Anything to be wary of?

I assume that because the extra fuel is contained low down, there could be up to 10 litres or so remaining in the tank when the low fuel light comes on? If so, I'm planning to put a slight bend in the float arm (if possible?) to delay the light being activated.

Thanks in advance :beerjug:

did you get the cross tank feed hose when you got the tank. I've just had to buy the setup for £42. there is a special right angled hose connector..........the rest is pretty straightforward.

Got all the bits although I bought the fuel hose elsewhere rather than pay BMW £21.00
