I bought a set of Civil's fine footflaps (secondhand - sorry Civil) to fit to my 1150GS in preparation for a summer trip to Ireland 
I have the BWM headguards (black plastic useless things) and need to put spacers/longer bolts on the flaps to fit them.
Anyone else fitted them with the headguards; does it twist the bolts? All RELEVANT comments gratefully received!
