fitting heated grips

trying to retro fit heated grips to my 1150 in pic one below you will see the large connector that the original switch gear comes with

in pic two you will see the smaller connector that the new (second hand) switch has!!!!????

is there an adapter or do I have incompatible switchgear??

thats exactly what I suspected and I spent over a hundred quid on the grips now as well!!!
