Fitting Touratech fog lights

OK, so the supplied instructions are OK, except that I can't make a thing out in the black and white photographs.
I'm trying to work out exactly how the brackets for the Aux lights are mounted. It's a very specific bracket, but I can't see where it fits.

If anyone's got these fitted on a 2008 GS, I'd really appreciate a colour picture

My instructions date from 2004, wonder if that's a problem??

I've looked at the colour photo's, and the quality is better, except I can't see how they have managed to fit the fog-light bracket around a welded bracket that sits between the two tubular frames of the cockpit housing

Have TT actually sorted out the 2008 brackets yet?

BTW I believe the offending metalwork on the '08 frame is where BMW's OEM fog light brackets can be mounted.

ADVRider thread seems to show that they span between the beak mounts and those points

The right brackets arrived today, as promised by TT.
They are a better ft then the pre-2008, using the existing mount for OEM BMW fogs.

I'll try and get a picture tomorrow

How the Hell?????

How are you supposed to fir the locknut to the on-side beak bolt?
When youmount the beak, (even if you remove the temp sensor), it's impossible to get any sort of 8mm socket/spanner into the space
Anyone else managed this? HOW???
