Am about to fit an after market y piece to the 12. Just wanted to ask if it would be ok to use copper slip on the header bolts and threads to the lambder sensors. I ask in case the lambder sensors are delicate to such stuff. Anyone know?:bow

Are you both talking at cross purposes (or should I say - cross threads ?)
Is Orange asking about applying copperslip to the threads and Boxerboy replying about sealing the pipe joints?
Or is it me who missunderstood?

I'm with you on this one....

Coppaslip will prevent nuts, bolts & Lambda sensors from becoming seized (ideal if you think you may wish to remove them at some point)

The grey-gunk used on the other guys bike is an exhaust sealant - which will obviously create a good seal, but may make it difficult to remove the sensors at a later date.

Coppaslip will not harm the Lambda sensors if only applied to the threads which fasten them to the pipe.

Stu. :)
