that surprised me. there was an update for the ASA that made a huge difference to mine. I hardly feel the gear changes. That said. It's very rare I ride in Dynamic and cane it.

Ref Clunky gearbox, Is that a manual bike ?

You’ve made me think . I’ll go and ride it tomorrow . Maybe I’ve been a tad harsh on the gear box . I think I’m just thinking of the first engagement into first gear and that clunk ! Other than that yes it’s pretty slick . As I say gives me an excuse for a ride

As anyone had "the up to date" software version update on the r1300 gs.. if so can you confirm the latest version is.. mine is "125-013-041" only asking because a few weeks ago I got the Adapted ride height suspension ride height error again.. "Ride to the nearest dealers"... This happened few weeks after collecting my r1300 gs from new.. rode to the nearest dealers the bike was plug into the diagnostic and no error codes were found.. "was told this can happen with a rise rise in temp could off cause it" So when it happened few weeks ago I just turned the bike off then restarted it...

This is misleading.
You can have software updates specific to a single unit. IE - Bluetooth, ASA etc. Without the Main software version being shown to be different. I've had three "overnight" software updates targeting individual units and the number is the same. That said, The individual versions will be shown on a GS-911.

Ok I’ve just done a 50 mile ride . The gearbox is sublime especially at higher revs and in manual mode . In auto it’s very good but a tad more jerky . All satisfactory. Think I got mixed up with my 1150
