Im a new owner of an 03 1150gs. Its done 32k miles and ive owned it a few weeks now. Runs like a dream but previous owner kept it outside. I would like to replace some fixings that have turned rusty. Is there any lists / workshop manuals available that give order numbers or thread size so i can work through the bike and replace the grizzly looking ones please? Cheers.

Whatever you get, make sure you use some anti seize paste (duralac for example). You'll live to regret it if you just put stainless bolts in as replacements without it...

Thanks for the replies, i went for the ebay kit in the link. Got a tube of copper slip in the man cave, will be a good sunday afternoon tinkering task.

My package arrived from UK bolt for the 1150GSA in 3x clear plastic bags marked 4, 5 and 6 . Lots of fittings but, no form of reference document to where they go.
M6 seems to be the biggest diameter in the kit so, no major frame fittings. That means it is a question of removing each bolt and look for the appropriate size from the pile.

Have look at Max BMW's website. They have an online Parts Fiche which allows you to identify the bolt you're looking for - the part description gives you the sizing info...
