I was riding today and noticed the red LED on the bottom left of the tft was flashing.
I thought this only flashed when ignition was off to show alarm status.
Also oil status just had 3 white dashes instead of an OK sign even after stopping at traffic lights.
It was super hot today mind you.
Any ideas about both?

Did you turn the alarm off with the fob or by pressing the ignition switch?

I noticed that if I disarm the alarm and then turn the ignition on I don’t get the flashing. But if I skip the fob and just turn the bike on I get the alarm beep as it starts but the led flashes for the rest of the ride.

As for the oil status I read somewhere the OK status is based on a pretty epically ludicrous list or factors that if they don’t all meet the criteria it doesn’t show Ok.

I ride with a group who mostly have the tft, and ride exclusively in Southern Spain in temperatures well into the upper 30s, but no one has had a problem with their oil status lights not showing the OK symbol. So I think that the high ambient temperatures are not to blame.

Thank you gentlemen.
Yes, it does seem to be a lot of factors in getting it to read the oil level.
Up to top of sight glass so no worries there.
Alarm key fob light thing makes sense.
Cheers
