Flywheel removal.

Just about to draw back the gearbox and transmission to replace the flywheel. Does anyone know what the ideal length of the two 8mm de-headed bolts that are used to draw the gearbox squarely along from the engine to alleviate the possible damage to the clutch pushrod?

they need to be about an inch longer than the gearbox... so that you can thread them in with the gearbox in place... otherwise they just under up filling hte holes in your gearbox without doing anything else. I went to my boat chandlers and just bought the longest that I could find... turned out to be perfect.

If it helps... I got some long black ones... they look like impact tools if you know what I mean.
