In bikes past I'ved used Foam Filters for cleaning the air that my bikes have sucked in.
After a particularly dusty and dirty trip I'm once again considering a foam filter.
I did a bit of searching on the web and was surprised to find that UniFilter is an Australian Owned and manufactured product that is used all around the world.
According to Unifilter, their filters are fitted to all BMW racing team cars around the world, interesting, eh?
Have any others out there had any foam filters in their R850/1100/1150 GS's?????

The above site goes direct to a magazine article on Uniflow (Unifilter's manufacturer) that is about 3 years old but makes very interesting reading. Other parts of the site also contain some interesting information re:- filtration and dust.
