I used Sdoc100 Gel, bought from Hein Gericke. Worked wonders on the ACF-50 and on the bike generally.

+1 Sdoc gel,had a free sample a couple of years ago,thought ACF-50 would be a challenge for it!! worked a treat,so i bought a litre

If they both work as promised I'd be ok with that
petrol seems to work ok for me
Have used Muc off and Gunk- no problems.

I've used Muc-Off in the past.. Thinking of giving sdoc100 a go next time..
That said I have seen that All Year Biker is about to sell a kit form of what they use - https://www.facebook.com/allyearbiker will be interesting to see the feedback and what is costs.

Muc Off is reputed to do nasty things to the finishes on BMW's
Not just BMW's, its getting a reputation for helping start corrosion for some reason
SDOC is good stuff. Here's a good hint though, buy the refill bottle (saves a bit of money) and pour a bit in a pan or summit, and then paint it on with a brush. It goes a lot further and your not wasting any.

You can also dilute it (I go 4:1) with water and just leave it to do it's magic for a bit longer.
Why remove the ACF50. Only a couple of months till the road salt is down again
