Forest of Dean?

Hi all,

Not sure if anyone is interested, but I regularly do rides around the Forest of Dean - as it was where I used to live.

If anyone is interested, I'm happy to organise a ride - from Bristol, up through the Wye Valley, through the forest to Lydney then Gloucester 0 around 75 miles or so.

Would be great to meet some of you guys on the site as well.

I know the FOD pretty well, lived there for 21 years, so I'm ok, but there are always places you've never been so yeah, why not...

I used to live in Walford, just outside the FoD. Worked at Xerox for 15 years. Haven't ridden there for a while so might be interested in a ride on Sunday. Is the Woodman at Parkend still a decent place for lunch?

Would this be a 3 or 5 string banjo event?

I hope you plan on being out of the Forest before dark... it gets might strange up there when the sun goes down...
