I thought the USA slant was an interesting one, their vehicle safety law is robust

I read a couple of years ago that Triumph were find over £1m for not dealing with recalls quickly enough.

I'm assuming that was around 6000 miles - not the initial 600 mile service? Still seems a worryingly low mileage for this problem to be developing. Have you been off road much or at all?

Only some big potholes no off-loading which does raise the question what caused the movement. And yes, 6,000 mile service.

Interesting, glad you got sorted but i'd be worried when a franchise dealer keeps changing their story - not very re assuring, "at first said they hadn't heard about the recall and then said all parts were on back order" next "at first said they hadn't heard about the recall and then said all parts were on back order" they actually have the parts.

I agree that their communication was a little confusing and contradictory but they were attentive and professional throughout.

Mines done. Checked and bushes fitted. In a one'er at Cooper, Sunderland. If you're at all confused about what is the official line, ring local dealers. I rang 2 and got same story that it was official recall.

I believe they are no longer checking, just fitting, having mine done as there was some gravel and a dead rabbit on the A14 the other day which might have damaged them
