Been changing fork spring/oil on my '92 gs and managed to strip the threads on the right drain hole:clap. The drain bolt length is around 6mm and after some searching through my bits found a longer bolt (10mm) which, with a couple of added washers, seemed to tighten in ok, the drain hole must be threaded deeper than 6mm. Anyway, my question is does anyone know if this new, longer bolt will be fouling anything in the slider, can't imagine that I will ever bottom out the tubes (unless I hit a curb!) but seem to remember an anti-bottoming sleeve on the rebound damper rod. Any thoughts?
