Now £3750 mot expired. With mot £4000
I have just found out this bike started life as R100gs, sometime in it's life it had the bigger tank add which is the only difference between a Gs and a Gspd.

Where are the proper pictures and description Sir?
These sort of ads (with pictures of screenshots) make me instantly feel like I am about to be scammed.
Not saying that you are a scammer though.
However, as a suggestion a well put together advertisement with plenty of clear photographs and description of the TLC required areas, service history, etc, etc would make punters feel interested.
I am not being mean, but rough pictures alone will not sell this bike, you might even struggle to give it away for nothing.
So far your advertisement does not make me confident…

Let the family member put together a proper advertisement, seeing as they probably have more knowledge about the bike compared to what you’ve put out on here so far, then copy and paste on here.

£250 for an MOT?
that's bonkers-surely they could not have gone up THAT much since January this year or am I missing something???
Rock is saying he wants £4000 for it if he puts 12 months MOT on it, or £3,750 if the buyer takes it as it is..... he's not saying it costs £250 to MOT it£250 for an MOT?

Whatever an MOT costs- it clear that he wants around £200 for the trouble of taking it to have it MOT'ed and that's, IMHO, bonkers

A vehicle with 12 months MOT is worth more.... simple as.
This used to be Arkwright's bike which he gave to me before he passed away.
Charlie at Overland and Classic (Mikeyboy's) put new Siebenrock barrels and pistons in for me shortly before I sold it. When it left my door in Feb 2023 it was a fully sorted well running bike. (carbs needed balancing at the time as they'd been fully rebuilt and were still bedding in) Since then it looks like it's had a new saddle and as the OP says, new tyres.
