Do the maths
Whatever an MOT costs- it clear that he wants around £200 for the trouble of taking it to have it MOT'ed and that's, IMHO, bonkers
And calling people names Paul is...
Maybe the seller is self employed and is costing his lost time in taking it for a MOT.

Arkwright + Tufty White + Charlie + Price..👌

There’s more than enough in that advert for contact to be made, and a discussion started, a good honest bike by the look of it, and if I seriously wanted one this would be a contender, and IMO a bike always has to been seen in person anyway.

Adverts don’t sell bikes, it’s those with the cash looking for one, so if you’re not why say anything??

You’re talking like the seller is as fucking stupid as you are.

The screen comes with the bike, it's also got Brad new tyre's.

Thanks and very well put.

Here is assuming this reply is for me…

Apart from Tufty, I’ve no idea who the others are. Frankly, that makes very little difference to me.

Not sure about you, but for me a well put together advert is very important, with good description, clear photos, something that would draw me to the object being sold. Screenshots from a group chat photo library, unfortunately don’t cut it for me.

That’s fine, you are entitled to your opinion and views.
You are also correct to say that I am not in the market for this or any other bike at the moment. But just like your are entitled to submit this post that a replying to, I am equally as entitled to put my views and concerns forward. I am not being abusive to the seller, nor am I slagging off the bike. All I am saying is that the advert does come across as weak/lazy (imho), thus unlikely to make bods feel confident about what they are looking at.

Now that is a bit below belt and completely unnecessary mate! If you dislike what I I’ve to say, there is a button somewhere to put me on ignore. Trust me it’ll help you sleep at night.
What makes you think that I am “fucking stupid”?
Is that because I have opinions, and it is a free speech forum, a membership for which I am paying every year? In that case this makes the two of us :dabone

sooooo he wants £250 for a 1hr mot-
WOW
Don't panic
SNAFU IMHO
p.s I've plenty of ROTAX stickers designed to cover up the bm-wobbleU one for sale!
GLWTS
It’s a 35 year old bike you have the option to pay the lower price and bung it in for an mot yourself but although unlikely it could fail on steering or swinging arm bearings which could easily cost you more than the £250 you saved - simples isn’t it.
