hi, can anyone help? I need a b+b for 1 night riding from st marlo to Bordeaux and would like a stop on the way for me and a mate, can anyone help? cheers ken

As we have no idea which route you intend to take, let's start with the basics...
St Malo to Bordeaux is 330 miles, direct, no flower pressing or goat track excursions.
Nantes is roughly half way.
Nantes is a big town. Loads of hotels.

If you are looking for nice (not necessarily cheap, but nice) B&B's you could do worse than try the Sawday site:

Me? I would head for Nantes. It's a nice enough place, roughly half way, a decent choice of beds and enough restaurants / bars to find some scoff in the evening if you are hungry.

I was going to start a thread to ask for advice on how did I get upset!
Then I thought no I can do this myself, only I know the mood I was in prior and the mood I'm in now, I got there at a quicker than average pace as I didn't stop to do any flower pressing and I took "great roads mate" discovering my way to upset myself was quite fun, I used plenty of resources, I wasn't the first and certainly won't be the last. I knew I could do it. Getting upset in Wales was the same as getting upset in England, so I thought "go on give it a go". I've even recorded my route to upset and highlighted the good bits, making notes along the way.
